In 1968, Harlan Ellison won a Hugo Award for his story of the same name published in March 1967’s issue of IF: Worlds of Science Fiction. In 1995 it turned into a game published by Cyberdreams.
The backdrop of the game is a sort of dystopian cyberpunk hell controlled by an evil computer named AM who had destroyed all of humanity save five people. He’s kept these people alive to torture and been doing so for over 100 years. His twisted goals are nothing more than to crush your spirit and playing the game, you must prove you’re better.
You must play each of the five characters and go through their hell trying rise above everything AM throws at you.
I began play as Gorrister, a suicidal trucker with a lot guilt associated with his wife, which I won’t spoil. I go through his complete story in the debut episode of this series.
